Doing our part together.
The L&R Group does not limit care, the concept enshrined in the final word of the L&R corporate tagline People.Health.Care., to employees, healthcare professionals and patients. As a company in the healthcare industry, we also feel a responsibility to global society as a whole and in particular to help people who are in need through no fault of their own. This is why we have worked together for several years with selected charitable partner organisations. These organisations provide aid after natural catastrophes such as earthquakes and typhoons, and they are active in trouble spots and care tirelessly for people in need.
Helping on the ground
Through these cooperative relationships we have already made valuable contributions in the form of recurring product donations and are thus helping to improve medical care for those affected on the ground. All of the products that no longer can be stored in the warehouse, for example, due to slight damage to the packaging, though the products themselves are undamaged, are collected at our logistics facilities. These product donations are sent in a regular rotation to our hand-picked partner organisations, which were selected on the basis of their international scope, many years of experience and available expertise in particular. This not only ensures that our aid will get to where it is most urgently needed but also that the products will be used appropriately by trained staff when they reach their destination.
We are very pleased with the productive and trust-based collaboration with our partners and we are proud to be able to support their admirable work.
